When the knife repair function is used, as the cutting area increases, the electrode wire generates wire drawing and electrode wire loss, which will become thinner and thinner, which ultimately affects the accuracy of the work and the effect of the next few discharge cutting.
In order to obtain high accuracy, it is necessary to measure the actual diameter of the molybdenum wire before starting to cut. It is recommended to tighten the molybdenum wire after cutting the guide wire and before officially cutting the workpiece. If the molybdenum wire has been used repeatedly for a long period of time, the diameter and roundness of the molybdenum wire need to be measured. If the difference is too large, a new electrode wire must be replaced.
Pay attention to the following points when using multiple cuts:
1. When the molybdenum wire runs empty, check whether the molybdenum wire shakes.
2. Whether there are cutting marks on the surface of the conductive block, and whether the molybdenum wire is trapped in the conductive block.
3. Whether the working fluid flow and color are normal.
4. Before processing, the process needs to be simulated. Determine whether the cutting program generated by the system is true.
5. According to the characteristics of the material, the working cut-off amount of the last cut is as long as possible to reduce the influence of material deformation.
6. Several problems on the working surface after cutting:
① Line marks on the surface may be caused by jitter of the electrode wire or deformation of the material and unreasonable setting of the offset.
②The black spots on both ends of the working surface are serious, and the working fluid is a problem. It is recommended that you can try to use water-based cutting fluid.
③After cutting, please clean with oxalic acid in time, then rinse with water to remove oxalic acid residue. Wipe off the water stain with a clean white cloth, and finally apply anti-rust oil.
